This lively straw coloured Chardonnay opens with rich melon, honeydew and citrus aromas that are delicately supported by fresh nougat and vanilla notes from barrel fermentation. The wine is a harmonious balance of soft rockmelon and stone fruit with the finish lengthened from 6 months ageing in European Oak Barriques, adding a cashew nut and cinnamon complexity. A wine to be enjoyed now or in 5 years time for a well awaited reward.
